The Black Country Museum

The Black Country Museum. Located in the midlands, England, this museum features the history of the Black Country from prior to the industrial revolution to today. The museum itself a consists of a typical town for the area, featuring a coal mine, mill as well as typical stores found during the age of peaked production. The term 'Black Country' was coined due to the majority of the area being coated in a layer of coal dust, staining the landscape Black.
